A clown hosts a variety show. There are no other performers. It wasn't supposed to be this way. The show must go on. Expect decadent costumes, opera, cabaret acts, improvised showstoppers, and a clown with an intense desire to make it all alright. Anja Bibby is a clown, singer, costume creator, and performer who sometimes likes to leave things up to chance when she goes out on stage. She is one half of the drag-clown duo The Weird Sisters and has been curating and hosting the cult variety show Bibby's Bonanza of the Bizarre in Oslo since 2021. Her debut solo show expands the absurd universe of Bibby's Bonanza of the Bizarre, and places the focus on its host and what happens when the host has to do everything alone.
