Richard Andersson NOR feat. Anne Efternøler on Tour in July!

The Danish-Icelandic jazz ensemble NOR, led by award-winning bassist Richard Andersson, joins forces with acclaimed Danish trumpeter Anne Efternøler for a unique meeting of some of the Nordic jazz scene’s most distinctive voices.

With a musical voice shaped by Nordic melancholy and a carefully measured volcanic temperament, the trio NOR has captivated audiences across Scandinavia through more than 100 performances over the past decade. Now, enriched by Efternøler’s deeply personal and poetic trumpet voice, the quartet creates an intimate, immersive, and highly memorable concert experience where expressive improvisation and strong melodic narratives meet.

The jazz magazine Salt Peanuts described the trio as “a tight unit, with a strong, emphatic interplay” and praised Efternøler as “a trumpeter with an expression that goes straight to the heart.”
