Singers Anna Gréta and Silva Þórðardóttir join forces for a concert featuring intimate interpretations, original material, and some of their favorite jazz songs.

Silva and Anna Gréta have been best friends since their teenage years and have developed a unique musical chemistry and shared sensitivity for interpretation. They now appear together for the first time performing original material they have created collaboratively. Joining them is Ómar Guðjónsson on pedal steel and guitar.

Ómar Guðjónsson is one of Iceland’s most sought-after musicians today. He has toured with KALEO, recorded with Laufey, and released the album Lifelines, which received unanimous critical acclaim.

Silva Þórðardóttir has for many years been among Iceland’s most beloved jazz vocalists. She released the album Skylark in 2019 and has received three nominations at the Icelandic Music Awards for jazz vocals. She also performs regularly with Jazzkonur and many of Iceland’s leading jazz musicians.

Anna Gréta has gained recognition across the Nordic countries and beyond through her albums Nightjar in the Northern Sky (2021) and Star of Spring (2024), both released through ACT Music. She has won the Icelandic Music Awards three times and established herself as one of the most compelling jazz artists of her generation.
