Skryabin, Yurko Yurcash Yurchenko and Ukrainian Surprises

Ukrainian Folk Celebration at Forbrændingen, Albertslund

On 29 august Forbrændingen invites you to a major Ukrainian folk celebration featuring the legendary band Skryabin, Yurko Yurcash Yurchenko and a range of special cultural performances. Skryabin is one of the most iconic rock bands in Ukraine. Founded by Andriy Kuzmenko, who wrote more than 300 songs during his career, the band became a gathering point for millions of Ukrainians. His music lives on through the band, which today is the official representative of his work and continues its concert activities with deep respect for his legacy.

Over the years, the band has played more than 2,000 concerts. Since 2015, the lineup has remained unchanged, featuring Oleksiy Zvolynsky on guitar and as band manager, Konstantin Glitin on bass and Vadym Kolisnichenko on drums. Keyboardist Konstantin Sukhonosov contributes to musical arrangements and new interpretations.

Also joining the stage is Yurko Yurcash Yurchenko, a well-known Ukrainian singer, poet and musician, who since 2018 has been part of the Skryabin & Yurcash collaboration. Together they create concerts where audiences sing along and where both the energy of rock and the emotion of ballads find their place.

We are also very proud to present Dmitry Herhel on accordion. A wunderkind who is synchronised with his instrument. Winner of several international and Ukrainian prices.

The evening will also feature traditional elements including a bandura player Galina Bandurova and a choir, adding a strong cultural dimension to the celebration.

It Will be a night filled with shared singing, warmth and powerful unity. It Will be a celebration that brings people together across generations and backgrounds.

Join us for an evening where Ukrainian...
