Bonerama has established a national following over 28 years for their New Orleans based brass heavy sounds including stunning covers of classic rock material (Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, etc) to New Orleans RnB classics and funkified originals. Currently comprised of Mark Mullins (founding member, trombone, electric trombone and vocals), Greg Hicks (trombone and vocals), Chris Butcher (trombone), Michael Mullins (bass trombone and vocals) Bert Cotton (guitar), Matt Perrine (sousaphone) and Eric Bolivar (drums), Bonerama has expanded the boundaries of what a New Orleans band can be. Their brand new release So Much Love (2026) features a who's who of New Orleans music today with special guests Trombone Shorty, Ivan Neville, Cyril Neville, Stanton Moore, Johnny Sansone, River Eckert and many more contributing their sound to this widely acclaimed new Bonerama album. Bonerama's previous full-length album Bonerama Plays Zeppelin (Basin Street Records), was one of the best-selling albums at Jazz Fest in 2019. Also in 2019 the band released a special single , "rdquo" -> Empty World" as a tribute to the late Allen Toussaint and features legend Michael McDonald on lead vocals. For nearly three decades Bonerama has become one of the most genuine, unique and interesting bands ever to come from the Crescent City incorporating brass, funk, rock and more into it's one of a kind sound you have to hear to believe.
