Dom Turner

Multi award winning artist Dom Turner’s (of Backsliders) new venture The Rural Blues Project is blues

beyond the 12-bar. The band takes 20th Century rural blues music from artists such as Lead Belly, Fred

McDowell and Robert Johnson, hybridising and rearranging, breathing new life for 21st century audiences,

all alongside blues-based original songs. It is a powerfully engaging live show not to be missed.
