Desde Ensenada, Lorelle Meets The Obsolete desata un torbellino de noise y krautrock, donde guitarras pesadas e hipnóticas inducen a un trance expansivo. El cierre perfecto lo pone el post-punk gótico y visceral de los mexicalenses Silent, con un sonido denso y crudo que golpea directo al pecho."

Jackie Mendoza
Born and raised in the border city of Chula Vista, California, producer and musician Jackie Mendoza has found inspiration from her motherland of Tijuana, Mexico to create intimate and ecstatic electronic pop with Latin-driven beats and vibrant soundscapes. Jumping between English and Spanish, she creates melodies that captivates the listener’s imagination with story-telling through sound design and narrative songwriting. Jackie uses voice and electric ukulele on a blend of electronic beats to bring to life a cacophony of sonic textures. Her debut LP, Galaxia de Emociones was recorded in Brooklyn, New York and Southern California and was co-written and co-produced by Rusty Santos, a continual collaborator since her last EP, LuvHz. Galaxia de Emociones was written during a precarious time in Mendoza’s life, and is a thirteen-track exploration of the emotional spectrum that comes with love and heartbreak, the complexities of familial relationships, and self-realization in the face of systemic injustices and a global pandemic.
