Georgia Mooney’s SUPERGROUP

One of Australia's most beloved and critically acclaimed live music events makes its London debut!

Created and hosted by ARIA-winning Australian artist Georgia Mooney, SUPERGROUP is a one-of-a-kind live experience: half concert, half chat show, and entirely devoted to the art of songwriting.

Imagine a little Later... with Jools Holland, a little Graham Norton, and a whole lot of musical magic.

Each night, a hand-picked collection of celebrated artists come together to form a band for one night only. Seated in a semi-circle and backed by the exceptional Supergroup House Band, guests take turns performing their songs, joining in with each other, and creating magical musical collaborations never to be repeated.

Between songs, Georgia guides intimate and often hilarious conversations about creativity, life on the road, the stories behind the songs, and the unexpected moments that shape a musician's career.

Previous guests have included Tim Minchin, Ngaiire, Maple Glider, Montaigne, Clare Bowditch, Lisa Mitchell, Dan Kelly, Ruby Gill plus members of Ball Park Music, Middle Kids, Grinspoon, Jebediah, You Am I, The Wiggles, and more!

No two shows are ever the same.

One night. One band. One SUPERGROUP.

About The Host, Georgia Mooney

Simply put, there is no other Australian artist quite like Georgia Mooney. An ARIA Award-winner and true musical polymath, she blends sophisticated musicality, bold vision, and remarkable versatility across performance, curation, and artistic creation.

First gaining acclaim as a founding member of beloved folk band All Our Exes Live in Texas, Mooney has since stepped forward as a singular solo artist. Her 2023 debut Full of Moon earned widespread critical praise, ARIA, AIR & Australian Folk Award nominations, and support from The Guardian, ABC, Rolling Stone, NME, Double J, Triple R and more.

The Australian hailed it as “nothing short of a triumph. ★★★★½”

Her visionary spirit is evident in SUPERGROUP. Equally magnetic as a presenter, Mooney created the popular series, selling out shows in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane, and taking it to festivals around the country.

Mooney also co-hosts the hit comedy podcast Fwends (listed in the 10 Best Podcasts of 2025 by Apple Podcasts), and is a familiar voice across ABC Radio.

“Beautiful songs, accompanied by great stories with moments of insight and hilarity. All the while effortlessly guided past any potential chaos by our green genie of a host.”

— Paul McDermott

“Georgia’s a spectacular performer but also an exceedingly generous host. The best combination since Gin and Tonic. Onward Supergroup!”

ARIA-winner Georgia Mooney makes music fit for stargazing. Audiences already know her from beloved folk band, All Our Exes Live in Texas, who toured the world extensively, sharing stages with everyone from the Backstreet Boys to Nathaniel Rateliff to Midnight Oil. The release of Mooney’s debut solo album Full of Moon marks the stepping forward of a major talent. Co-produced with Grammy-winner Noah Georgeson (Joanna Newsom, Cate Le Bon, Marlon Williams), the album is an ornately melodic, folk/dream-pop universe, carried by Mooney’s soaring ethereal vocals over lush, cinematic soundscapes.

Nominated for two AIR Awards, described by The Australian as “nothing short of a triumph.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2”, and dripping in critical acclaim worldwide, Full of Moon has seen Mooney sign with renowned Canadian label Nettwerk, embark on a 50-date Australian tour with Kate Miller-Heidke, open for Martha Wainwright at Sydney City Recital Hall, tour the UK and Ireland, curate and host a captivating variety show series with comedian Rhys Nicholson for Vivid Sydney, and much more.

An avowed Star Wars nerd who presents as a 40s movie star - she seems both from a long time ago and a galaxy far away, while speaking directly to the present. Georgia Mooney’s music is intricate, handcrafted, and richly melodic. Influences from Joni Mitchell, the Great American Songbook, even classical composers sift through her songs, alongside production that evokes the unsettling genius of Kate Bush. Add to that ribald stage banter engendering frequent comparisons to Phoebe Waller-Bridge, it’s no wonder Georgia is captivating audiences in every corner.

" chock-full with pure cinematic artistry" - Wonderland Magazine

"When she started playing I could immediately understand why the room was packed. She played with a tongue-in-cheek elegance that disarmed everyone instantly. I think everyone fell in love at that show" - Rolling Stone Australia
