Winter Break Workshop – Exploring Gel Printing

Hafnarborg invites primary school children to participate in fun and creative workshops during the upcoming Winter Break, October 26th and 27th. These sessions are open to those who want to unleash their creativity and explore different approaches to making art. The workshops will focus on different techniques, so children are welcome to attend either or both days.

Exploring Gel Printing

Monday October 26th at 1-3 p.m.

In the workshop, participants will be introduced to gel printing and explore its exciting possibilities for creating art. Gel printing offers a playful way to experiment with colours, shapes and textures, producing unexpected patterns and images through simple techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment and create their own unique artworks under the guidance of artist and teacher Sólveig Eir Stewart.

The workshop will take place on the ground floor of the museum and we ask that children attend accompanied by parent(s) or guardian(s). As always, participation in workshops and entrance to the museum’s exhibitions is free of charge. Everyone welcome.
