NEI

NEI is a Reykjavík-based trio composed of Birgir Jakob Hansen, Tómas Ævar Ólafsson, and Snorri Rafn Hallsson. They play kuldarokk – “cold rock” – a sound shaped by the Icelandic winter: bitter winds, biting frost, and the quiet violence of emotional aftermaths.

NEI is cold. NEI doesn’t not care. NEI wants to be cold. NEI doesn’t want to be cold. NEI wants to go faster. NEI wants more. Sometimes. NEI is cold. It blows. It drifts. It beats too slowly. NEI doesn’t not care. Never.
