Welcome to the opening of the exhibition featuring exclusively works from the collection of Bunkier Sztuki, which houses one of the strongest collections of Polish contemporary art in Europe.
The exhibition will include photographs, paintings, sculptures, and installations by thirty artists from Poland.
The works have traveled from Kraków to Reykjavík, where they are presented within a community that has been partly shaped by Polish presence. Poles are the largest group of immigrants in Iceland and have enriched Icelandic culture and everyday life. The exhibition creates a space for encounter between Polish culture and the Icelandic audience.
