The lecture series Samhengi welcomes musician and producer Howie B and visual artist Hiraki Sawa on Friday, October 16th. In connection with their performance 3 Sticks at Gamla Bíó, they will share insights into the creative process behind the work.
In the lecture Invert the Pyramid, they explore how sound, image and technology have come together in the development of 3 Sticks. Through conversation, live demonstration, footage from previous performances, and a look at some of the software and tools used to create the work, they offer insight into their collaborative process and how ideas develop through experimentation and into live performance.
The event is open to all.
