Only Dance brings the energy and immediacy of the dancefloor to the stage, combining synth-driven textures, live instrumentation and deep, propulsive grooves. Drawing on house, techno, UK garage and the rhythmic language of ’90s electronic music, the duo create an immersive, high-energy live experience built for movement and for those who like to keep things strictly dance.

At the heart of Only Dance are David Goodwin and Alexander Flood, two highly accomplished musicians whose careers span electronic music, jazz, contemporary composition, improvisation and experimental performance.

David Goodwin is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer whose work moves effortlessly across genres and musical disciplines. He has performed with the Adelaide, West Australian and Queensland Symphony Orchestras, while collaborating with a diverse range of acclaimed artists and ensembles across Australia and internationally.

Alexander Flood is an internationally recognised drummer, producer and composer, widely regarded as one of Australia's leading contemporary drummers. His distinctive rhythmic approach and adventurous musicality have taken him throughout Europe, the UK and beyond, performing at major festivals, clubs and venues and establishing a reputation through his own forward-thinking projects.

Together, Goodwin and Flood channel their formidable musicality into a distinctly club-focused sound, combining the precision and possibilities of electronic production with the spontaneity and physicality of live performance.
