Svavar Knutur

Svavar Knútur, Icelandic song poet, is coming back to the UK, touring Scotland and England in late November. Finally visiting Birmingham, the wellspring of his childhood idol band, Duran Duran, for his first solo concert.

Singing songs and telling stories rooted in the Icelandic experience and heritage, Svavar Knútur works hard to deconstruct and defang the viking porn addled image of the Icelandic culture and bring to the forefront the true stories of a people and the island and ocean that have defined their culture and heritage for a thousand years.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Kitchen garden café on the 24th of november.

See you there my lovelies!
