Kristrún Frostadóttir forsætisráðherra býður til lýðræðisfögnuðar í Austurbæ í Reykjavík miðvikudaginn 26. ágúst. Húsið opnar kl. 17:00 og viðburðurinn hefst kl. 17:30.
Kristrún flytur lokaskilaboð til þjóðarinnar eftir fjölda hlustunarfunda um hagsmuni Íslands. Bríet tekur lagið og Bergur Ebbi Benediktsson leiðir samtal við salinn.

BríetBríet is an award winning Icelandic singer and songwriter known for her songs “Esjan”, “Feimin(n)” and “Rólegur kúreki”. She is a multi-instrumentalist who writes and performs her own songs in different arrangements, from acoustic singer/songwriter to full on party pop mode. She is a very visual, artistic performer that puts a lot of work and thought into everything she does. She has directed her own videos, designed her costumes and she has been the art director of her projects as well. She is also a prominent actress and sometimes paints in her free time.
Her album ‘Kveðja, Bríet’ was selected as the album of the year at the 2021 Icelandic Music Awards. That same year, Bríet won singer of the year and lyricist of the year. She has been extremely successful in the Icelandic market with interest from all over the world. She has been writing and performing since she was a teenager, exploring her emotions through creation. Bríet now embarks on her next chapter internationally.
