About
A ‘kimi’ in Icelandic is a ‘small and narrow corner’. This reflects rather nicely with KIMI’s peculiar instrumentation and esoteric repertoire. Our ensemble invites artists to collaborate with, be it composers with whom we create new works of music, or other talented musicians who will explore the stage with us. Through this collaborative and open approach to music-making, we have become a kind of chameleon, adapting ourselves to each project, venue or work we perform.
