LILJA, praised as “a little sensation” and “a divinely gifted guitarist,” brings together outstanding musicians to create deeply personal, yet universal music. She has performed in most corners of the world, integrating a wide range of traditions into her expression.
LILJA’s debut album Marble (2020) was met with rave reviews from critics. The 2023 follow-up, Mirage, featuring collaborations with traditional musicians from Sápmi, Brazil, Morocco and Pakistan, was nominated for the Norwegian Grammy Award.
Her third album, Muna, expected in August 2026, is written as a non-dualistic autobiography — a paradoxical story about life. It features artists such as Beady Belle, Anders Røine, Bugge Wesseltoft, Helge Norbakken and Jo Skaansar.
