Floran cafe/bistro is located in the center of the plant and herb collections in the Botanical gardens of Reykjavík, but the philosophy behind the restaurant comes from the location. Flora grows a large portion of the raw material used in the kitchen, lettuce, herbs and flowers, all organic. In that way
park visitors can learn about plants and herbs in their journey around the garden and enjoy the products from them in the gazebo .
Flora café/bistro is open from the 1st of May to 1st of October, and open more than a month over the Christmas period when the christmas buffet begins.
This opening hours is to protect plants that are in the restaurant.
