Our youth partly defines us. The memory of the 'first' stays with us. The first love, the first kiss, the first of anything. The first time we experience pure bliss of music. Therefor we go back to the music which defined our youth.
It was the British invasion. If we weren't into Spice Girls (at least not openly!), our hearts were captured by the indifferent swag of Oasis or Blur. Across the pond Lenny Kravitz, Foo Fighters and The Smashing Pumpkins were rocking out – and we first met Ethan Hunt, Tom Cruise's character in the Mission: Impossible movie.
